Wycombe District Swimming Club Juniors were in action again on Saturday at Reading for the final round of the Thames Valley Junior League.
Wycombe went into the competition in 2nd place with a very closely contested top spot changing all the way through.
They came out victorious, ahead of Bracknell and Reading with 14 Personal Best Individual races, 9 First's, 17 Second's and 10 Third's. These young swimmers certainly pulled out all the stops!!!
9yr swimmers had 6 relays and took 3 First's. JOSIE SEARLE, MILLIE SANSOME, OLIVIA BALL and KATIE PIERCY won their 4x25m Medley relay and Olivia and Millie were joined by AYODELE EVANSON and JACK WAKELY to win the mixed 9yr Medley relay.
Ayodele and Jack were joined by JONATHAN JELFS and OLIVER ROSS to win the 9yr Boys Medley relay.
10yr old victory came from FIONA GLADDING in the 50m Backstroke in 42.45 P.B. who was joined by KASSIDY DAWN, MEGAN PETERS and EVE BAILEY to secure 1st in their Medley Relay.
The 11yr olds had one win from the Boys in the 4x25m Freestyle Team of JAMES BAXTER, SAM KRASNER, JACK COX and ETHAN CARTER.
The 12yr olds saw 1st place going to ABBIE CORSINIE for 50m Backstroke in 37.31, and JAMES ANSTEY in the same event in 37.17 P.B. James was joined by ETHAN CARTER, HARRY ENGALL and CHRIS HARBOUR to win their 4x25m Freestyle relay.
